Ian Simkin is a top computer coder, the best there is. But something ain’t quite right. Then he meets a black man, called P4, who tells him nothing is real and he is living inside a spreadsheet and the only way to find out the truth is to jump out a window.

All of a suddenly he is in the real world which is nothing like spreadsheet and he can see that everything was run by macros and pivot tables.

Ian is very sad because nothing in his life means anything anymore, but now Ian and P4 must try to set all the other cells free. Problem is, a lot of people really like living inside the spreadsheet so it’s not gonna be easy.

Also, Ian has got asthma and inhalers don’t exist.
